I have been running since 2017, when I joined Nike Running Club on my mobile device. The first attempt was in 2016, when I went with friends to the weekly Saturday 5 km run in Sofia and hardly breathing, have finished my first 5K in round 15 min. Same year I ran along the beach during summer but the real work started next year.
Why do this?
- First of all, I was never fat, nor ill to need to get into a good shape. I weighted 73kg when I started.
- All my life I loved sports but never had the time to dedicate fully to this. I was a volleyball player in high school, played 2 more years in University.
- Back in 2015, at work, we did an internal Championship and this is when I bought new sports shoes and played again.
- 2017 is a key time for me, starting my 40-s, when running slowly started to become a passion.
